What is the weirdest job youʼve ever held?

I was the gold medal winning drive-thru specialist at Arbyʼs for five years. I literally had a gold medal.

What is your favorite all-time game?

Final Fantasy VII. It was my first experience with a narrative driven game, and nostalgia paints bright.

What games are you playing right now?

Iʼm currently playing Final Fantasy XIV and just finished The Last of Us.

What motivated you to begin working in the game industry?

While enamored with prose, I knew that interactive storytelling could engage in a way no other form of storytelling could. I wanted to be a part of that.

What inspires you?

Seeing others succeed and experiencing their successes.

What is your proudest achievement?

My proudest professional achievement is receiving fan fiction for games for which I wrote the story. My proudest personal achievement is helping to create a loving family in a world where love is becoming difficult to find.

What piques your curiosity?

Anything new. It excites me to see the evolution of every aspect of our lives.

What is your hidden talent?

Iʼm in a two man band with my brother. Itʼs hidden because weʼre horrible.

What is the best thing about working at Schell Games?

The mindset of our leadership. Schell Games doesnʼt pursue the flavor of the day, but roots itself in the stable projects and visions that allow our continued success over a long period, and jobs for its employees.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I think the Wachowskisʼ Speed Racer is a piece of cinematic brilliance. Itʼs comparable to visually induced nirvana.
