What is the weirdest job youʼve ever held?
Growing up, I worked in my fatherʼs machine shop. I would sit in front of a drill press or grind sharp edges off of metal plates all day long. Additionally, I have also worked at Wendyʼs, Best Buy, and a local movie theater to name a few places.
What is your favorite all-time game?
Itʼs a toss up between Quake 2 and Half-Life. I spent so many hours playing both of those games. The thing that intrigued me most was the ability to mod them. There were some pretty spectacular mods available. My favorite Half-Life mod is Natural Selection.
What games are you playing right now?
I have been playing Titanfall, Telltaleʼs The Walking Dead and several PlayStation Plus titles.
What motivated you to begin working in the game industry?
I was always trying to reverse engineer and figure out how several of my favorite games worked growing up. In college, I worked on an independent study project where we built an RTS that was loosely inspired by Age of Empires and Warcraft. I really enjoyed working on that project and decided to begin a career in the industry.
What inspires you?
My parents. They are always there for me no matter what.
What is your proudest achievement?
Landing an awesome job!
What piques your curiosity?
How stuff works. I am always disassembling things to figure out what makes them tick.
What is your hidden talent?
I taught myself how to play guitar and have never taken a professional lesson.
