The Challenge: How can SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment create an interactive, educational experience that gets visitors excited and curious about deep sea exploration?

The Solution: Working with Schell Games, SeaWorld created Mission: Deep Discovery. The interactive experience puts up to four players into a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to explore the depths of the deep sea. Like the few deep sea explorers whom explored these parts of the Earth, these players are able to see creatures in their natural habitat, take pictures, and collect samples of the deep sea environment.

The Result: The experience opened in 2018 in the Ocean Explorers realm in SeaWorld San Diego, and is part of the same attraction as its Electric Eel roller coaster ride.
