For the second year running, Schell Games was named one of 14 winners of the 2022 US GamesIndustry.Biz Best Places to Work Awards. This event is all about making the games industry a better place to work, and the awards themselves are ultimately decided by an in-depth survey of employees. In addition to being recognized as one of the best mid-sized companies, Schell Games was also the sole recipient of GamesIndustry.biz's Education Award for our work with students and educators to develop the next generation of talent. We were finalists for the Corporate Social Responsibility Award and the Diversity Award.

The bulk of the awards are based on an employee survey. We sent over 50 statements to staff for them to agree or disagree with. The survey covered numerous topics including working environment, work/life balance, management, diversity and more. This was worth 80% of the final score.

The award recipients were revealed in a special video ceremony that featured numerous employees from winning companies talking about their experiences in the games industry.
