The 2018 Immersive Perspective Awards, presented by Virtual Perceptions, recognized CEO Jesse Schell and the full-service game design and development company for their effort in Immersive Reality development.

Jesse Schell was recognized as a Pioneer of Immersive Reality. The award cites his 20+ year tenure in the video game development industry and his expertise as a professor at the Carnegie Mellon University Entertainment Technology Center.

Schell Games' virtual reality lab practice game show, HoloLAB Champions, is a nominee for the Immersive Education of the Year award. This nomination comes off the heels of winning two awards at the Serious Games Showcase and Challenge.
